John's family...in a sense...

In my fanfiction, John makes friends with the Chaotix...and in a sense, he feels that (while the group of Mobian misfits serve as John's lieutenants and bodyguards) they are the only family he knows of.

Bomb isn't in the picture because Neon wasn't quite sure what he looked like.

Note: Heavy really isn't that tall...

Heavy: I just happen to have extendable parts, alright?!

Name: Vector the Crocodile
Species: Mobian Crocodile (Crocodylidae Mobianus)
Age: Currenly 25.
Occupation: Bodyguard to John the Enforcer and Chief of Food Stuffs.
Physical Abilities: Vector is a capable swimmer, is fast on land, and can use either his hard scaly tail or his powerful jaws (which can exert a maximum bite force of 4 tons per square inch) in combat. His scaly hide deflects the hardest of physical blows. Vector can also take on a donut shape and roll into battle like a wheel.
Powers: None.
Weapons of Choice: Though comfortable with any hand-held energy or projectile weapon, Vector prefers to use his headphones, which not only play the latest hits for him to groove to, but also to project a powerful burst of soundwaves towards any enemy.
Vehicles of Choice: He's usually along for the ride on any of the Chaotix's vehicles.
Personality: Loud-mouthed, a bit belligerant, and even a bit hormone-crazed, Vector's a guy on the hunt, whether it be for the latest tunes on the market, his next meal, or even the next pretty face he lays his eyes on. Other than such flaws, Vector has a good heart that looks out for his comrades. In the heat of battle, he often has the coolest head...even if, as a couple of other members of the Chaotix believe, he doesn't do much in the way of serious thought. He is dead loyal to John and considers himself John's closest friend.
Weaknesses: Vector has a bottomless pit for a stomach, and his headphones sometimes drown out important orders from John. Show this crazy croc a pretty face and he's a drooling idiot. He's just as mortal as the next being.

Name: Mighty the Armadillo
Species: Mobian Armadillo (Dasypodidae Mobianus)
Age: Currently 20.
Occupation: Bodyguard to John the Echidna and In-Charge of Demolitions and Maintenance.
Special Abilites: Mighty can curl up into a round, armored ball that shirk off even the most determined weapons fire. He has highly attuned senses of smell and hearing.
Powers: Mighty is the strongest of the Chaotix, able to lift even the heaviest of objects with one hand.
Weapons of Choice: Whatever he's strong enough to pick up and chuck at an enemy.
Vehicles of Choice: He's often along for the ride.
Personality: For all of Mighty's prodigious strength, his strongest muscle is his heart. He is kind to a fault and uses his strength to aid the others in any way he can. In battle, Mighty is a force to be reckoned with, especially when someone hurts his friends in any way. Even John is wise to give this super-strong armadillo a wide berth, even though Mighty would never willingly harm his friends. Around someone like Neela, Mighty loses his usual calm and confident attitude and blushes like crazy.
Weaknesses: Just as mortal as any of his allies, Mighty's weakspot is the side his armor doesn't cover. Like John, he is deeply compassionate about his friends and would rather take a beating than see them get killed.

Name: Espio the Chameleon
Species: Mobian Chameleon (Chamaeleonidae Mobianus)
Age: Currently 24
Occupation: Bodyguard to John and Chief Intelligence/Espionage Officer.
Physical Abilites: Espio is fast and strong enough to hold is own in battle. He is able to crawl or even walk and run along celings and walls as easily as the others do on the ground. Espio's horn is able to withstand the strongest impacts. His lashing tongue can shoot out and deliver a sizable punch to his opponents. Due to his physical build, Espio can only spin like a tornado, not a ball like Sonic or Mighty.
Powers: Like all of his kind, Espio can completely blend in with his surroundings, even become invisible in plain sight!
Weapons of choice: Usually, the stealthier, the better with him.
Vehicles of choice: Like the others, he's along for the ride.
Personality: Hot-tempered, secretive, and often giving off an cold-blooded air about him, Espio comes off as an outsider, even amongst a group of Mobian outsiders. Nonetheless, Espio is coldly professional in everything he does. Two things truly bother John about Espio. One, his slight lust for authority amongst his peers, even for John's position as leader of the Chaotix, and two, Espio's strong dislike for the females around John's base, even going so far as to hurt them. Still, at John's insistence, Espio knows his place...for now...
Weaknesses: Like any Mobian, he's just as mortal...just hard to keep track of with his cloaking abilities...

Name: Charmy Bee
Species: Mobian Honeybee (Apis Mobianus)
Age: Currently 18.
Occupation: Bodyguard to John the Enforcer and courier.
Physical Abilities: Charmy is easily the fastest of the Chaotix, being able to fly at speeds comparable to Sonic's footspeed. His senses of sight and smell are highly attuned.
Powers: Charmy can change his overall size at will, from being small enough to perch on John's shoulder like a parrot to being tall enough for his antennae reach John's hip. He can squirt out honey from his abdomen, and, unlike his suicidal evolutionary ancestors, can sting again and again, even launching stingers with deadly accuracy.
Weapons of Choice: Any that don't have enormous recoil...he's the little guy, after all...
Vehicles of Choice: When not doing solo flights of his own power, Charmy rides along with the others.
Personality: Charmy is often the eager youngster out to prove himself, even though he willingly obeys John's orders. Charmy has a happy-go-lucky attitude about him, which leads the others to think he's a bit abscent-minded. However, Charmy does keep a cool head, often breaking up fights between Espio and the others, and he's always the first to remind Epsio of his manners.
Weaknesses: Being the smallest of the Chaotix, he's not too physically strong. His wings can easily be damaged.
